On December 4, 2002, Liz Smith, VP of Stuff was on TV and no, for once we're not talking about QVC! She appeared with Katie Couric and Matt Lauer on the Today Show. That's because Boyds donated 1.8 million dollars worth of bears to the Today Show Holiday Gift Drive. (And, you thought we were just trying to get some free airtime…well that too!!) Some of our beary best friends are already on there way to help brighten the holidays for hundreds of thousands of children.
