Boyds Wins BIG at 2010 Collectors Choice Awards!

Boyds® by Enesco® was recently honored with three…count 'em three…Collectors Choice Awards, earning 1st place recognition in three major categories: Dolls/Plush, Halloween and Home Décor/ Gift Under $50. Now were not ones to go tootin' our own horn but we could not be prouder of these prestigious honors and have you…our loyal friends…for makin' it happen.

Open to all companies doing business in the U.S., the fine folks at the Collectors Information Bureau (CIB), assembled a panel of five distinguished leaders in the collectibles industry to review all submissions for nomination in each of the eleven categories. The public was then invited to vote on-line for their favorites, with the winners announced at a recent awards ceremony.

1st Place, Dolls/Plush
Kelsey Goodfriend with Stretch

Standing at 16" tall, this mocha cutie wears a color blue corduroy dress showcasing elaborate appliqué details with ric-ram trim and heartwarming embroidered message of friendship. Holding Stretch, her spotted giraffe friend, Kelsey is part of Boyds® highly popular Goodfriends Collection.

Rusty Knitbeary with Roary

Ready for a roarin' good time, this handsome fella is fully-jointed and crafted in custom-blended rust plush fabric. Rusty sports a colorful knit romper with button closures and matching knit cap and holds his colorfully whimsical knit lion friend.

1st Place, Halloween
Esmeralda Castaspell with Spidey

Guaranteed to cast a spell of happiness, our bewitching friend Esmeralda wears a dress crafted in cotton and satin fabrics with purple netting and voile overlays. An intricately embroidered spider web accents the skirting of the dress and with fabric rosettes, netting and faux feathers accenting her witch's hat. Not arachnophobia in the least, she holds her itsy-bitsy, eight legged spider friend, Spidey.
