Mr. Burke accepted the money on behalf of those who lost their lives during the September 11th tragedy. The money will go directly to the families of the 347 fallen firefighters and EMS personnel in New York City.

The exuberant response from our dealers and collectors is what made this project a resounding success. We raised $150,000 of our $600,000 from the sale of Teddy B. Bear, our October 13th special event mohair bear. Boyds donated $1.00 for every Teddy sold that day. The remaining $450,000 came from the sale of two very special Limited Edition pieces created as a tribute Our American Hero...Strength, Dedication and Courageto those brave rescue workers who faced overwhelming odds with tremendous courage and determination in the wake of the attacks. The American Hero…Strength, Dedication, and Courage Bearstone and Crumpleton sold out in just 10 days, raising $450,000. And, that brings our grand total to $600,000.

Thanks again to all of our wonderful collectors and dealers for helping make things a little bit easier for those that lost loved ones in the attack on America.

How did Uncle Bean's huggle-fluffs get so soft n' cuddly?

Our huggle-fluffs are made with one thing in mind - make 'em as soft as a baby's behind. It takes the right combination of cotton, baby powder and love to get that bundle of luvin' just right! It's even been said that our little critters are known ta sing your young'un to sleep (in a voice that only the tiniest children can hear). So next time ya peek in on yer sleepin' one...listen closely!
