The exuberant response from our dealers and collectors is what made this project a resounding success. We raised $150,000 of our $600,000 from the sale of Teddy B. Bear, our October 13th special event mohair bear. Boyds donated $1.00 for every Teddy sold that day. The remaining $450,000 came from the sale of two very special Limited Edition pieces created as a tribute to those brave rescue workers who faced overwhelming odds with tremendous courage and determination in the wake of the attacks. The American Hero…Strength, Dedication, and Courage Bearstone and Crumpleton sold out in just 10 days, raising $450,000. And, that brings our grand total to $600,000.
