Murphy's Mill & BakeryNew! 19044 - Murphy's Mill & Bakery, 4"H
Murphy's been grindin' wheat into flour for years down at the old Mill and Bakery. His pappy built the mill back in the good ol' days using clapboard for the roof, brick for the smokestack, and limestone from the creek for the walkways and siding.

Murphy's mom made the place famous for her homemade breads and buns...folks still travel from far and wide for a loaf of breakfast bread and a bagel or two...using the Murphy's famous quick-rise recipe! The bakers start mixin'Murphy's Mill & Bakery the batter in the wee hours of the mornin' and by noontime, that familiar aroma of hot cross buns and other goodies fill the country air.

Murphy used to give tours till he found out someone ws tryin' to swipe the family's secret recipe...he's hired Billy Bob to keep a close eye on the place. But Billy Bob's no private eye...he'd rather swim upstream and search for sunken treasure!

The bakin day begins before the sun rises. Murphy spends a good part of the mornin' preparing tehe batter and setting out the bakery display, while Hollis stokes up a fire in the brick oven with hickory switches from the nearby woods. Mrs. Murphy's takin' a break this season. She's got her own bun in the oven and has decided to oversee operations (and taste-test donuts in her spare time!).

Boydsenbeary Acres Lil' Country ChurchNew! 19045 - Boydsenbeary Acres Lil' Country Church, 4 1/2"H
Sunday's a day of rest in Boydsenbeary Acres...no housework, no farm work, no way yer getting' outta Sunday service at the Lil' Country Church (unless yer runnin' a pretty high fever!).

The church ws built by the town forefathers with their very own bare paws and includes a tile roof, a church spire, a bell tower, stained glass windows, clapboard siding, a limestone foundation, and Boydsenbeary Acres Lil' Country Churcheven a blacony where the mini pipe organ was placed and the choir performs on special occasions.

Today, a pancake breakfast presented by the Murphy's Mill and Bakery, has folks daydreamin' of maple syrup and flapjack stacks a mile high. Billy Bob can't wait for the church finance officer to end his long-winded speech so he's ringing the church bell in hopes that he cuts his spiel short and lets folks usher into the church social hall!

Shirley, Agnes, and Blanche, members of the church counsel, are feelin' lucky, bypass the pastor, and head sraight for the bingo hall! Miss Appleby, the Sunday School teacher, got so wrapped up in her bible lesson, she almost forgot about the pancake breakfast...until she heard a student's tummy grumblin'!

Ol' MacDonald's Farm HouseNew! 19046 - Ol' MacDonald's Farm House, 4 1/4"H
It's true! Ol' MacDonald did have a farm...and it was located in Boydsenbeary Acres! This old-fashioned farm house (based on The Head Bean's original digs in Boyds, Maryland) features a tin roof, two chimneys, clapboard and brick construction, a front porch for relaxin' after the sun sets, and an attached summer house (da kitchen, silly!) where Momma MacDonald whips up the evening dinner over an old potbelly stove! Word has it that Billy Bob, the hired farm hand, has a crush on Ol' MacDonald's daughter, Betty Sue. After finishing up his chores out in the cornfield, he cleaned up and picked a daisy bouquet from the meadow. He's fixin'' to woo Betty Sue on the front porch swing...hope he don't miss his opportunity to steal a kiss before the courtin' candle says it's time to go!

There're always chores to be done on the MacDonald farm. Wally's whitewashing the picket fence and Poppa's out in the front yard, fixin' his old pick-up truck so he can haul fresh produce to the Boydsenbeary Acres Farmers Market on Saturday! But where's Betty Sue? She was supposed to milk the cows this mornin' but decided to spend the day daydreamin' aobut Billy Bob out in the Daisy Field. Wonder what she's writin' about in that diary?!

Ol' MacDonald's Bank BarnNew Limited Edition!
19047 - Ol' MacDonald's Bank Barn, 4 1/2"H
Just across the country road from Ol' MacDonald's Farm House is a big red bank barn (inspired by traditional Pennsylvania barns!) that houses hay bales, the cow herd, and a corncrib that holds a year's worth of feed for livestock. MacDonald built the barn with logs from the nearby woods and topped it off with a tin roof and a chicken coop (raisin' hens is Momma MacDonald's pet project!). Plantin' season starts today, which is why the green tractor's warmin' up in the alcove...time to till the fields and fill with corn, pumpkin, tomato, pepper, and soybean seeds! But MacDonald can't do all the work himself...he's out in the fields searchin' for Billy Bob, who promised to pitch in but decided it was more fun to parachute from the roof to the hay bale below!
