Well...for 2006, Boyds and the American Cancer Society are taking the Boyds Bear and a Bunch for Daffodil Days to a national level and you can join in the excitement, help a very worthy cause...and get yer paws on a very special, exclusive Boyds Bear to add to your collection! Flowers R. Hope is the bear, and she'll be available, with a bunch of beautiful, fresh-cut daffodils...the symbol of hope...throughout many areas of the U.S. at participating Boyds Retailers and other businesses and institutions that have signed up to help the American Cancer Society in the on-going fight against cancer. Sign ups to donate and receive Flowers R. Hope are starting now and will end by the end of February or beginning of March depending on geographic area. Flowers R. Hope is a 12-inch, oatmeal-colored un-jointed, bean-filled bear with green eyes. She wears a unique green, yellow and red plaid bow and features exclusive daffodil embroidery and an American Cancer Society foot sash. The divisions of the American Cancer Society who chose to participate in this event do their Daffodil Days events at different times and are likewise signing donors up to receive Flowers R. Hope at different times.
