Yep, we're adding two more awards to our already impressive list:
Category - Small Manufactured Bear, Undressed Slim B. Woodsley
Slim is one of our Out of the Woods Originals, part of our Artisan Series…the series in which Boyds creates the work of sum world-famous bear artists. Friends Alan Clark, Judy Davis, and Steve Orique joined forces in the early 90's to form Out of the Woods Originals, a bear-making company known for unique, whimsical, and realistic designs. The Folks at Boyds knew talent when they saw it and Slim is a testament to that talent. Thanks to the Out of the Woods crew for designing such an award-winning teddy.
Category - Manufactured "Friends" Archie Strutencrow
Don't mess with Archie…he rules the roost down on the farm! And, now he's heading for bigger and better things with award in hand. This Archive rooster, the first-evah for Boyds-features a jointed neck for easy posin', a velvet comb and wattle, a posable tail, and felt feet.
Category - Manufactured Miniature Bear, Dressed/Undressed Nellie... Baby Buckles
Nellie is part of our Bearfoot Friends Collection…the lil' bears that fill baby's first shoes and follow in some pretty tiny footsteps! Nellie is a brown bear reclinin' inside a little dress shoe.
Our 2002 TOBY winners are now entered to win the Public's Choice award in their respective categories and YOU CAN VOTE for Boyds. We need our collectors to rally and fill out the O-Fishull TOBY ballots for "Nellie...Baby Buckles", "Slim B. Woodsley", and "Archie Strutencrow". Find the ballots in the July/August 2002 issue of Teddy Bear and Friends magazine (on sale June 4th).
Congratulations to Liz and the plush team for all their hard work. And, be sure to add our award-winning plush to your collection! Click here to find an authorized Boyds dealer near you.

Are my Wuzzies getting smaller? Or do I need stronger specs?
T.F. Wuzzies are notorious pranksters. Are you sure that they're not just ever so sloooooowly moving away as soon as you come near? To be safe, apply stick-um to the bottom of your Wuzzie's paws and be sure to have an eye doctor check your baby blues.
