There's a legend among the Folks at Boyds...that the Easter Bunny has some crazy little helpers - The Hop 'N Quacks - who sneak around paintin' eggs, fillin' baskets, and plantin' the pretty Spring flowers. We're talkin' about bears in egg suits, cats in bunny suits, bunnies in duck suits. The Head Bean claims to have seen one or two outta the corner of his eye...but they move so fast, it's hard to catch a glimpse!
As Easter neared, The head Bean thought up a scheme to catch the little critters in the act. In a country meadow, he set up a fancy little basket filled with Easter grass, a few unpainted goose eggs, and some jeally beans (The Hop 'N Quacks' favorite snack!). THB disguised himself as a tree stump (just stood real still!) and waited...and waited. He started to nod off, and soon was fast asleep. In the mornin', THB went to inspect his booby trap - the basket was filled with every shade of Easter egg, candies, and wild Spring flowers braided in a chain. Musta taken alotta work...How'd they do it without makin' a peep!?
Uncle bean was bummed, for sure...until he developed his film and discovered an egg-shaped bear causin' a commotion! Proof of the Hop 'N Quacks, at last!

81510 - Egbert Q. Bearsford, 10" The Head Bean was puttin' the finishing touches on an emerald-, orchid-, and purple-colored egg...when he heard a creak, and then a crack, and then a crunch. Pretty soon the top popped off and the sweetest little Boyds bear emerged-our snow-white, bean-filled Egbert Q. Bearsford. We've redressed him in his own velvet egg suit-complete with back Velcro closure for easy removal!
81506 - Skip Hopsey, 3 1/2" Flip's cousin, Skip, has got the most amazin' coat of plush-look close to see the slate-grey and wheat-colored strands! Our fully jointed bunny ornament (the smallest jointed bunny we've ever done) features cream-colored velvet paw pads and inner ears, an embroidered nose and mouth, and a light violet voile bow.
81502 - Eggbert the Artist Pin, 2" What a way to celebrate the Springtime! Our Bearstone pin, Eggbert the Artist, is a wonderful accessory to wear with your favorite Spring ensembles-and a great gift for friends...whether stashed in an Easter basket or a special card!
81503 - Lionel Purrimore...Purrfect Audition, 4" Our Purrstone kitty Lionel heard they were holdin' auditions for a new Easter Bunny down at The Sugarland Theatre (it's B.Y.O.E.-bring yer own ears!). So he rented a bunny suit (complete with real cotton pompon tail!) and, with a hop, skip, and a jump, he was down on Cat Street, waitin' in line for his chance to recite a few lines (we printed his script on real paper!), show off his egg paintin' skills, and demonstrate his fancy footwork!
81505 - Flip Hopsey, 3 1/2" Someone's been in the jellybean jar...can't ya tell by that sneaky little grin? Flip, our lily-white, fully jointed bunny ornament (the smallest jointed bunny we've ever done), features cream-colored velvet paw pads and inner ears, an embroidered nose and mouth, and a spearmint voile bow. A great gift-topper or accent for a Springtime bouquet!
81501 - Watson's Fabearlous Egg with Peep McNibble, 2 1/4" Watson, egg artist extraordinaire, fashioned his own egg-paintin' studio in the shape of...you guessed it! His elaborately decorated hinged egg house-a hand-cast and hand-painted creation from our Uncle Bean's Treasure Boxes(tm) Collection-opens to reveal an Easter basket (you would swear it's real straw!) filled with his favorite pastel paints, a palate, and his magic paint brushes. Remove the insert to find our McNibble mouse, Peep, "egg-sittin'" Watson's latest creations!
81507 - Tina Marie Hopgood, 6" Tina, our egg-white plush hare, is dressed for the Easter Parade in her seersucker aqua plaid romper (brand new Boyds material!) with rosette accents and a matchin' headband with bow. She features posable ears, cream-colored velvet paw pads and inner ears, and an embroidered nose and mouth.
81509 - Graham Quackers, 8" Graham knows that, to get enough eggs, he's gonna hafta strike a bargain with the hens or sneak in the duck house. Well, the hens are on strike, so Graham, our blue-eyed, antique-white, bean-filled chenille bear, is slippin' into his knit chenille duck suit complete with removable hood, bunny ear holes, duck bill flap, and special Boyds buttons!
81500 - Alouysius Quackenwaddle and Lil' Crackles, 3" Our Bearstone Alouysius Quackenwaddle - inspired by our Chicklet and Webster Shoe Box BearsTM - is thinkin' of livin' the duck's life. Before he plunges headfirst, he's decided to "test the waters" in his duck suit. Companion Lil' Crackles didn't fit into his duck suit and decided to cover up in a pearlized purple egg!

How did Uncle Bean's huggle-fluffs get so soft n' cuddly?
Our huggle-fluffs are made with one thing in mind - make 'em as soft as a baby's behind. It takes the right combination of cotton, baby powder and love to get that bundle of luvin' just right! It's even been said that our little critters are known ta sing your young'un to sleep (in a voice that only the tiniest children can hear). So next time ya peek in on yer sleepin' one...listen closely!
